Tuesday, March 16, 2021 Nablus Chamber of Commerce and Industry and An-Najah National University closing the fourth and final day of Public Administration ‘PA’ training seminar on [Employment Policies in Palestine and the Role of Public Administrations in the Development and Enhancement of these Policies].
The training seminar lasts for Four days; 11th, 14th, 15th and 16th of March 2021 through the virtual platform ZOOM with the expertise of number of qualified trainers who dedicated all their knowledge and experience to the participants. The trainers were Mr. Thuqan Qishawi, Mss. Suheir Saleh and Mr. Baheej Nasasra.
The training seminar encompasses number of representatives from public administrations and directorates of official operating ministries including the Ministry of Social Development and the Ministry of Labor.
Both theoretical and practical levels were adopted and folloed in implementing the training sessions what help to enhance and enrich the training value. The theoretical side illustrated in number of presentations prepared by the trainers including the outline of training days and the material to be presented.
In the part of the practical side, the trainers managed to involve the participants in working groups, with providing the participants with certain tasks, missions and activities and case studies or examples from real life experiences.
Training Objectives:
The training covered number of topics as part of training objectives illustrated in the followings:
1-Definition of Employment Policies and related concepts and the analysis the roles of (government, business owners /employers and workers/employees) in terms of employment operating policies.
2-Employment Policies Limitations and its relationship with other policies.
3-The reality of employment in Palestine, the social perspective of jobs and employment, project designation, criticism of government-funded projects from local and foreign institutions,
4-Levels of administration, social leadership, social awareness and the development of practice skills related to diversity.
Main Achievements and Outputs:
The training seminar came out with number of outputs including:
1-Establishing a promising networking between the various participating public administrations and ministries in Palestine which strengthens the possibility for Policies Changes and enhancement.
2-Establishing lines of communication between public administrations and social and solidarity economy actors.
3-Identify the Employment operating policies adopted in the Palestinian market and analyze the roles of each actor in enhancing these policies.
4-Generating and sketching out new ideas and ways to enhance the reality of the employment in Palestinian society.
